Carnbane Industrial Estate

Extension to industrial estate: bulk excavation, rock extration, cut and fill of clay and rock to site. Construction of main roads and drainage.

The scheme involved substantial earthwork operations that are designed to reshape the undulating and steeply sloping site to create two substantial level platforms (plateau) for future industrial/commercial development.  The scheme was designed to maximise the potential usable area for development whilst taking into account the natural environment within and adjacent to the site.  The scheme will create fully serviced estate of approximately 55 acres for commercial/industrial use.

The major elements of works comprised of large scale cut and fill earthwork operations.  In addition, vegetation clearance, topsoil stripping and rock excavation will be carried out. Construction of internal fully serviced access roads complete with the installation of drainage and utility services.  The area was fully landscaped taking into account biodiversity measures.
